The Project
- Description of the massive walls that surrounded the city of Jericho
  - Archaeological evidence reveals that by 8000 BCE, the site grew to 40,000 square meters (430,000 square feet) and was surrounded by a stone wall 3.6 meters (11.8 feet) high and 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) wide at the base.
  - The fear and intimidation that the walls instilled in the Israelites
  - The seemingly impossible task of conquering Jericho with its impenetrable walls.
The Plan
- March around Jericho 13 times
- About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the LORD to the plains of Jericho for war.
The Possible Problems!
- Commitment
  - That’s just more than I can commit to!
    - I’m over worked now I need my time. It was and hour or so a day! Jericho was around 2.8 miles). The time it would take to walk around Jericho would depend on an individual’s walking speed, but it would likely take around 1-1.5 hours at a leisurely pace.
  - I am too worn out.
    - Someone came and told John Maxwell I’m burnt out and his reply you never had fire to start.
  - I can’t give total commitment because I lose my freedom/ a better land was ahead but the parents could give up freedom.
  - That’s a stupid ideal.
