As fall weather approaches it is going to be filled with many opportunities for the body of Christ to connect to the community through hope faith and love. I ask that you begin praying now about the people that you could invite to all of the events that will be taking place. I think it is important that you begin praying, because the Lord told His followers to pray for the Lord of the harvest. So who are you praying for today to help grow the Kingdom of God?
One of the other things that i ask you to start praying about your harvest dinner offering this year, don’t wait for the last minute. Plan now to maybe set aside a paycheck to help the church reach the offering goal that night, it is our decide through this offering to eliminate all debt that the church has before we begin the building project.
Finally, I close with a scripture that Paul wrote to the church of the Thessalonians:
1 Thessalonians 1:2-4
We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.
