We were formed for God’s family

What is Fellowship?
1.Companionship, company, community of interest, activity, feeling, or experience b: the state of being a fellow or associate  2. A company of equals or friends: association; the quality or state of being comradely.
Fellowship is what you experience when you are in the presence of other believers, fellowship is what other believers do and a fellowship service is what the church (the people, the ecclesia) attends. When the people of God (the church) get together (fellowship), we are companions to each other, helpers one to another, we are comrades, we are a company of equal friends. Anything less that this is simple a gathering or a club.
Ask yourself, do you experience fellowship at your place of worship? When was the last time another member greeted you or hugged you and said “I Love You?” Or “Be encouraged brother, God will see you through”. When was the last time you visited someone that you have not seen in many Sundays? Many churches are so quick to write people off. If your not an avid giver or you don’t contribute to the missionary or building fund, don’t expect a visit or phone call.
When the ecclesia gets along with itself and we dispense with our differences, places of worship will experience true growth, fellowship with the Father and true fellowship among each other.
