Today I begin a new ten week series about the purposes of this church. I believe that the church is to make sure that the church is doing what god would have us to do as a local church. The six areas that we will discuss are Administrative, Fellowship, discipleship, Worship, ministry, evangelism. We begin today with administrative or financial part of the church. Over the last few weeks I have had several people ask me about finances and where I stand and what the Word of God says about the financial times that we now face and what the families are to do that are struggling. This will be a two part sermon. Also, we introduce each team of the church that oversees that area of the church. I hope that maybe it will help everyone to plug in and also just remind where we are as a church for those that may be interested in joining.

- It’s pleasing God and makes us rich
- II Corinthians 9:10-11 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. - It’s getting what you give
- Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back
- It’s Fun
- Acts 20:35 And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.
