- Ladies Day Out Aug 23rd meet at church at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be at Twigs and Springs Tearoom upon arrival ( approx. 11:00 a.m.) Shopping after lunch on the grounds at the Garden & Gift Shops.
Free admission to the Mum Festival.
Sign up sheet is on the back bulletin board please sign up so we will have an idea of how many are going. If you have any questions please see Janet Kates or Ileta Schaub. - Books on Parents are available in the back. You are invited to take one to read but please remember to return it when you are done so everyone will have a chance to enjoy them.
- Any one interested in a small group Bible Study on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. please sign up in back. We will be doing a six week study on a topic of your choice. Please sign up and list the topic you have an interest in studying
- Bowling anyone? If you would be interested in playing n a bowling league on Sunday nights at Southern Bowl now is the time to sign up. The cost is around $15 per week and it is a co-ed league if we could get 8-10 people to sign up that would keep cost down since only 4 play each week.
- The Discipleship team is looking for some dedicated people to help with the little ones. Openings include: a new class for the 3-4 & 5 year olds. We would like a team of two or three. Marlene could use the help with the nursery when Pat leaves for Florida, which will be soon. Two people would be great. We also we need someone interested in doing Children’s sermons or Junior Church for a three month period. Please see Dawn, Susan or Sandy if this applies to you and you can help. Thanks.
- An invitation to study God’s word: You are invited to come to a Bible Study on Thursday nights at Bob and Sherrie’s home at 7:00 p.m. We are studying about making good decisions based on Gods word and would love to have anyone that is interested to come and join us.
- Nursery Needs: Volunteer(s) to work one Wednesday night a month so Marlene can volunteer at MacAna’s school. This month it would be Sept. 9th.
- Please see the Nursery Needs Poster in the back hallway for a list of items needs by the Nursery.
- If you shop at Christian Family Book store please ask for the stamps. They are not offered to you, you have to ask for them. These stamps can be used to purchase items for our Sunday School and Nursery. If you have any questions or have some stamps you would like to donate please see Pat or Janice.
