Partnership Promise
Over the last few weeks we have been looking at the mission of the church and how that process works. We start with sharing hope to those that are seeking help, once they have that hope in Christ we want everyone to grow in faith. Once we start growing, a natural response will be to demonstrate love to all people. Over the next few weeks I wish to share some things about commitment, Commitment to others, church, God and life in general. Today I want to share a little about the church and introduce a few new things for all of the church. What does it mean to be part of Woodside Community Church?
Demonstrating Love By Serving
Today we continue talking about the process that we as a church believe that the bible show us on how to make disciples, which is the command that Jesus Christ gave us some 2000 years ago. Step one is to share hope with those whom the Lord is leading. Step two that we looked at last week is two grow in our faith.
Growing In Faith
Today we continue our series on the church at Woodside and what we believe is the Kingdom of God. Last week we talked about our vision of connecting to community by sharing hope, growing in faith and demonstrating love to all people. We answer the question why is this do we want to connect, which is to make disciples and then began discussing the process of making disciples. The first plan is to be share hope or telling others about the Good News of Jesus Christ, and invite to have a relationship with Him.
Sharing Hope
Over the last five years we have tried very hard to contact with the community, as new people come and join us we need to let all know what community and why we want to connect. In addition it is important to know the process that we as a group of believer’s desire walk down as we continue to build the Kingdom of God. It is this thought process that I want to share for the next several weeks here at WoodsideCommunityChurch. What is the reason to connect to make disciples and once disciples we connect as believers to grow more like Christ everyday.
No Excuses in 2010: Genesis 3-4
As one listens to the news stations, athletes and about everyone else one thing becomes very clear to me and it is my prayer that we as a church do not fall into that same mindset. Everyone today has an excuse for everything! It always something or somebody else’s fault that things don’t go as planned or we are just not big enough, or we don’t have the money.
