Risk Takers Part II
After a great weekend last week in Westfield, we get back to our series on risk takers. Remember we are going to look into the lives of some people that took some extraordinary risks, by obeying the Lord. Two weeks ago we looked into the live of Abraham briefly and today we are going to look in a passage that is often overlooked in scripture, as matter of fact the book of I Chronicles is one of the least read books of the Bible.
Risk Takers
Today we begin a new series on some of the great risk takers in the scriptures. Those who stepped out in faith not knowing what the futures holds, but were willing to trust God for all the answers. God never called us to a life of comfort but did promise us a full overflowing life when we remain in Him. So we begin today with what I think was a giant leap of faith for a group of people and what happens when we step in faith and how we as a church need to continue to take the unknown path.
Presecution
Today we conclude our series on the Beatitudes found in Mathew 5. It is my pray that we all strive to have the attitudes that we have discuss over the last several weeks. Today we end with the last beatitude that I am going to speak about. Bless are the persecuted for theirs is the Kingdom or great is their reward.
Peacemaker
We are coming to the end of our series on the beatitudes from the book of Matthew, last week will be the last sermon in this series and we will begin a new news series call taking a risk. We will look at people in the Bible who stepped out in faith and see how God rewarded them for their faith.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God
What a promise for those that have devoted themselves to the Lord. We continue study the beatitudes today and as we learned with a response is a promise. Today I want to talk about pure heart. First we want to look, why we need a pure heart and then ways to make sure that our hearts are pure.
