Sermon Notes

Yesterday we celebrated the Fourth of July, and the freedom that we have as America. I listen to one army General call it happy freedom day. We should be very thankful for the freedom that we have today in this country but also the freedom we have in Christ.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.

Acts 1:8 And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

As you go, proclaim this message: 'The kingdom of heaven has come near.' 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9 "Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for workers are worth their keep

Today we continue our series on the church and the teams that we believe God would have us focus on as a community of believers. We talked about stewardship or administrative, discipleship, and last we talked about serving the Lord or ministry. Today i want to share a little about worship. Today you will here many people say about a church service the worship stinks or was bad.
