Super Sunday is Every Sunday: Acts
Today millions of people will be parting like wild because it is Sunday Bowl Sunday. They will tune in to watch the football game and cheer for the team that they want to win. We will be watching the super bowl here as well. I am thankful that every Sunday is super here at Meridian Woods, we gather ever Sunday to celebrate and worship the King of Kings. So I want to encourage us today to remember how to have a Super Sunday.
For Such a Time as this How to make the most of this time?
We continue our series today looking at such a time as this. Today I want us to focus on how to have the right mentality to really take hold of this time. So much of our lives is wasted on the negative mindset that we really loss direction in what needs to be done for God. I want to share three areas of our lives that will help us today take hold of this time.
For such a Time as This Who is this time for? Who are you?
Over the last few weeks we have been talking about the phrase from the book of Esther for such a time as this the first week we looked at what time it is last week we looked at why is the time now. Today I want to look at the who, many of you know that today is sanctity of life Sunday and as we talk about the who I want us to see just how special we are to God.
For Such a time as this Why is this the time?
Last week we looked at what time it is and learned that now is the time. Today I want to spend a few minutes discussing why it is time. Why is the opportunity for this to be a great year at Meridian Woods and the Kingdom of God? Why is this the time to continue to connect ot the community through faith, hope and love? The Lord Jesus tells us why and I want to us learn a few thing about the why now.
For Such A time as This What Time
As we head into 2009 it is great joy that I can say with confidence that God has great thing in store for the Church at Meridian Woods. I was asked the other day where do I believe that God is heading Meridian Woods. After about twenty minutes I think that person wished they had never asked. I stood here last year at this time and say to the church many individuals its going to be a tough year.
