Today is the last week of our 5C’s for beginning a New Year. It is my hope that over this year you continue to go back and remember the 5C’s because they will guide you to greater 2013 because each and every one comes straight form the Word of God. Today’s C is Communication in Life.
Ephesians 4:25-29 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,”[e] for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. . . . Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- Pleasant words are a honey comb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones (Proverbs 16:24).
- The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood(Proverbs 12:6).
- A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver (Proverbs 25:11).
- “Evil communications corrupt good manners” (I Cor.15:33).
- The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, (Proverbs 15:4)
- A deceitful tongue crushes the spirit (Proverbs 15:4).
