The gift of Hospitality is the special ability that God gives to certain members of the body of Christ, to provide open arms, open homes, and warm welcome for those in need of friendship’s welcome, food and lodging.
You can connect with people. Set them at ease in unfamiliar surroundings. Meet new people. Let them know they are in a safe environment to be valued and care for to develop relationships in Christ.
Are you friendly, outgoing, trusting, responsive, sociable, caring? You can be a greeter/usher. Reach out and be on the out- reach team, or use your gift helping the Fellowship Team. You can help the Disciple team by hosting small groups in your home.
Now that is a great idea!… Not just entertaining but a learning experience. If you are interested in doing this, please contact a member of the Disciple Team now. New groups will be forming for the Fall season beginning in September.
A big “thank you” goes to our team member, Michelle Davis, for doing a great job with Vacation Bible School. She, also, plays the drums in our Praise band. We will miss you Michelle, as you return to school.
In Pauls letter to Philemon, he writes:
” I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.”
