Control you Approach
- Matthew 2: 1-3 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.” 3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.
- Don’t let things disturb you, the other person doesn’t even kn

Control you Apprehension
- Matthew 2:4-8 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. …’ ” Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”
- Do let worry, control you this season
- Just be yourself don’t think you have to buy the biggest and best gift.
Control your Animosity
- Matthew 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.
- Don’t let anger steal the season
- It causes harm to others more that you sometimes.
The key is to really remember what this season is all about. It is about Jesus and think of the words that He spoke.
John 15:10-11
If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
