Dottie Rambo was born 3-2-1934 as Joyce Reba Luttrell in Madisonville, KY She was born again at age 12. She
began her song writeing career at age 8. By age ten she was playing guitar and singing on the local country radio station and her career has sky rocketed since. Married at age 16 to Buck Rambo, they formed the “Singing Rambo’s” with their daughter, Reba.
After 44 years of marriage, they divorced. Some of her famous music: “We Shall Be Hold Him”, “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need”, “Stand By The River”, “Mama’s Teaching Angels How To Sing” and the children’s musical that we did some time back and loved..”Down At The Creek Bank”.
Dottie Rambo died May 11, 2008 at the age of 74, of injuries from a tour bus accident in Mount Vernon, Missouri.
