Greetings from outreach.
Lots of upcoming events planned for this summer. We are going to need YOUR help to get the word out. Some excellent opportunities for all of us to spread the gospel.
Please be praying and inviting people to Sunday nights pray and play. This is an excellent time for us to attract unsaved friends, neighbors and families. I would like to have a second prayer time for these activities on June 9th at 730pm after small groups.
June 30th is the first Wednesday night family night. Outreach team would like to host a weenie roast that night starting 5p to 630p to kick it off and hopefully encourage all of us to invite other families to come.
July 9th we will be having a handout to promote VBS at 5pm. We will meet at church, get supplies and go to neighborhoods or shopping center parking lots.
Also, we would like to plan an event in your neighborhood. Some possible examples are… water give away at your neighborhood yard sale, summer lip balm or lotion handouts, water handout at your nearby park, shopping assistants for shut-in’s, window washing or yard work for people unable to do it. Please come to us with ideas or something that you want to do in your neighborhood. Starting a small group in your home is a wonderful way to show God’s love and bring unsaved friends/neighbors/family to salvation. Ask us if you would like to start one and need a little help getting started.
So, as you can see, there are many things to get involved in this summer to spread the word. Please get involved and see me or Julie if you have any questions or an idea for your neighborhood.
