Today we conclude our series on what our identity in Christ is like. The first week we looked at life with Christ, secondly week we looked at the adoption of Christ of us, last week we looked at what He has made us because of His work on the cross and today we conclude what we get in the afterlife and what we are doing during this time.
THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
II Timothy 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give at that day; and not to me only, but also unto all them that love his appearing.”
THE CROWN OF LIFE
James 1:12: “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
THE CROWN OF GLORY
I Peter 5:4: “And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
