This is that week of between; it comes after the excitement of Christmas. Many of us just want relax until the new year and think about what is ahead as we enter 2010. What happening this week. I want us to think about four P’s this week. After the excitement of the of the birth, we tend to just wait sometimes and in this period of waiting do this:
- Ponder

Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them - Psalm 119:95
The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes. - Ecclesiastes 12:9
Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like
