Next month a great opportunity awaits the Meridian family. We will be partnering with our friends from New Beginning’s fellowship in Kokomo for a joint service on Sunday September 13th at 11:00AM. This is more than just a worship service we are going to try to reach out to the community of Westfield to see if God is opening doors to plant a new church. So before this event will have a couple of outreach events to promote the service in the community and we need people to help as we partner together with New Beginning’s. So here are a few details:
Who: Meridian Woods and New Beginnings
What: A joint Service and picnic in Westfield Celebrating our being sister churches and all God has done these 7 years. We also are trusting God for our mission focus on planting the seed of the gospel in Westfield to see if there is the possibility of a new church plant.
When: Sunday, September 13th. The service starts at 11:00 a.m.
Two joint outreaches are scheduled:
Friday August 14th.
Westfield, at 6:30PM
7 to 10 people from each church
Put up flyers at businesses
Saturday, September 5th
Park & Neighborhood outeach.
Do a coke give a way and talk to people
Where: Quaker Park: 17501 Dartown Road, located off of SR 32, a mile to the west. About a 45 to 50 minute drive.
Why: To celebrate our connection with Christ and each other by worshipping and enjoying a picnic together along with trusting God as we explore the possibility of a church plant in Westfield.
