As you all know, VBS is fast approaching us and it will come quicker than you (an I) will think. I’m really sorry I can’t be at the church more often, but I’m sure my dad would die before he paid that gas bill. I really hope you all are preparing for VBS and looking forward to it as much as I am. We really need all the help we can get to make this go smoothly. For those that know they are able to help, here are some things you can do to make VBS ’09 really great for all the kids;
-Look out for anything about “The Outback”- decorations, stuffed animals, signs, ANYTHING!
-Outback attire- like khaki shorts, boots, shirts, and hats
-Pray! Pray for people to step up and volunteer and for the program to go smoothly
Anything you can do for VBS would be awesome! Obviously, our theme is associated with the Outback- “Boomerang Express.” Our theme verse is 1 John 4:9- “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.” We all know that VBS is a great way to show God’s love to kids and I hope to have more kids saved during this VBS than we have had before and get more families in the church.
I don’t have all of the fine details just yet, but if you are willing to help June 22-26 from 6:00-8:30 please just continue to pray and be prepared to sign up for leadership positions.
