Last week we talked about the organization of the church.  This week our focus will be the individual.  It is my hope that we all come away today with a way to grow.  Each one of will move in some way this year and it would be great to move closer to the Lord.  I want to focus on a few things this morning that will help us to grow.

  1. Passion
    1. 1 Peter 2:2 – Desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
    2. Desire
    3. Craving
  2. Proper Nourishment
    1. Matthew 4:4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
  3. Practice
    1. James  1:22 – Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only
  4. Patience
    1. Philippians 1:6 –  being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
