We need some one who would be interested in sewing curtains for the windows here at church. Please see Pastor Mark if you would be able to help. - On Wednesday nights we need some one who would be committed to working with the kids. If you are interested please talk to Sandy or Pastor Mark. This will start Sept. 10th
- Starting Sept. 7th the Ministry Team would like to challenge all of you who have the” most delicious pastry treat ever” to bring it on one of the 4 Sundays in Sept. to enter into the “ 1st Annual Bake Off Challenge “ at Meridian Woods Baptist.We will provide the entry slips and the ballots and ask the congregation after sampling the goodies to vote for the item they like best. The weekly1st place winner’s name will be put into a drawing a grand prize on Oct.5th. We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons each week. Please see Angie, Brenda, Christi or Janice to schedule a Sunday to bring your treat. I would like to thank Cathy Campbell for bringing us a great treat every Sunday which inspired this idea for a baking contest.

The Discipleship Team is sponsoring Secret Dinner Plans: You don’t know where, who will be there, the theme or what food is being served.
You don’t know because the Discipleship Team plans it for you. In some places people have to go underground to have a Christian Meeting…..could you keep a secret? Could you go quietly? Could you make sure that your weren’t being followed? Could you sit patiently?
Put your name in the basket on the back table for the chance to come to a Secret Dinner. Volunteer to host a dinner. Do it soon!! A Discipleship Team member will contact you. Dawn, Susan or Sandy - Any one interested in a small group Bible Study on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. please sign up in back. We will be doing a six week study on a topic of your choice. Please sign up and list the topic of interest to you.
- The Discipleship team is looking for some dedicated people to help with the Nursery and Junior Church. Pleas see Dawn, Susan or Sandy if you can help.
- The leadership team will eat together Wednesday night before church and meet after to church to discuss a few things with Our regional minister.

- Youth Group kicks off Sept. 7th here at church starting at 4:30 p.m. Invite your friends now for opening night. We will have a time of fellowship and devotions followed by “ MUD WARS III “ !!!!
