Next Sunday September 13th our joint service with the friends from Kokomo. The service will start at 11:00AM directions to the park are in your mail box. We will be meeting at Quaker Park in Westfield, Indiana that morning. If you need a ride please let someone know we want everyone to attend if possible.
September 12th water/coke giveaway at the park and in the Westfield Community. We need at least four people next week to meet at the park to get away water.

- Rejoicing in the Lord! The Indiana center for Congregations has awarded Meridian Woods Baptist Church a matching grant up to 10,500.00. Now let’s raise the money!

- If you would be interested in hosting a small group at your home any night of the week please tell Sandy Gilkerson or Mark. The church will provide the study.
- The Ministry Team is sponsoring a Food Drive for 2 months (August and September). All donations will be taken weekly to Hunger, Inc. which supports Perry Township residents. We want to collect only non-perishable items (no green beans or corn, please). Our information is that these months are the months most needed for donations due to students returning to school. If you have questions, see a member of the Ministry Team.

- We will be having a special meeting to discuss some business that the church needs to take of, on Monday September 21st at 7PM. I encourage everyone to attend this meeting to here about some exciting news.

- Zoo Books on sale now please take a few and try to sale them at work or school to help raise money for the grant. See Julie if you can serve in this way.
