John 10:10,
“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Ecclesiastes 6:9
Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind.
- Wealth without enjoyment – 6:2 A man to whom God has given riches and wealth and honor, so that he lacks nothing for himself of all he desires; yet not given power to eat of it, but a foreigner consumes it.
- Family without purpose-Â 6:3 If a man begets a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with goodness, or indeed he has no burial,
- Life without Living – 6:6 even if he lives a thousand years twice, but has not seen goodness. Do not all go to one place?
- Work without Reward – 6:7 All the labor of man is for his mouth, And yet the soul is not satisfied.
THE ANSWER:
God is Sovereign
6:10Â Whatever one is, he has been named already,
For it is known that he is man;Â And he cannot contend with Him who is mightier than he.
Jeremiah 32:17
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
