Over the last several weeks we have been talking about the connecting to community and the process today we pack it all together and share the process so we can all understand and make it happen. We are here to carry out God’s mission to save a lost and dying world.
- Connect to God(Large Gatherings)
- Mark 2:1-5 And when he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door. And he was preaching the word to them. 3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“Son, your sins are forgiven.”
- Connect to Others(Connect Groups)
- Acts 2:42 -47 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
- Connect by serving(Serving Community or believers and non-believers)
- Mark 10:45 In the same way, the Son of Man did not come for other people to serve him. But the Son of Man came to serve other people. The Son of Man came to give his life to save many people.
