We were made to become like Christ
By Rachel Smith
“Blessed be Your name when the sun’s shining down on me. When the world’s all as it should be, blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your name on the road marked with suffering. Though there’s pain in the offering, blessed be Your name”.
How easy is it for us to say “Blessed be Your name” to God when everything is going right? For most of us, it’s a lot easier than saying it when we’re having trouble or going through a difficult time. For me, I still take my good days for granted a lot and mark it off my calendar and move on to tomorrow. When I have bad days, though, I will sigh and say, “Come on, God, REALLY?” I’m so glad He loves me unconditionally and still calls us His own, no matter how whiney or selfish we get. So today, whether its good or bad, take time to say thanks and give praise to God for your successes and trials.
