Today we begin by looking at ingredients to a healthy church

Ingredient One

  • Filled with the Holy Spirit.
    • Acts 2:4a And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
    • Acts 2:43 fear (Awe)

Ingredient Two

  • Tell the people they need a Savior
    • Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent,
    • Acts 2:40 Be saved from this perverse generation

Ingredient Three

  • Unity
    • Acts 2:44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,
    • Acts 2:46a So continuing daily with one accord

Ingredient Four

  • Purpose
    • Acts 2:42a they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine(Discipleship)
      • Small Groups
      • Homes
    • Acts 2:42b Fellowship
      • Lord’s Supper v42b
      • In Prayer v42b
      • In Food v46
      • In Church v46
      • In Homes v46
    • Acts 2:45 and sold their possessions and goods, …., as anyone had need.(Ministry)
      • In the church
      • Served
    • Acts 2:45 divided them among all(Administrative)
    • Acts 2:47a praising God(Worship)
    • Acts 2:47b Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved(Evangelism)
