Today we continue to talk about the church and what steps that we need to take to make sure God is going to be glorified at Meridian Woods. I want us to spend time today looking at and example of faithfulness or one who stepped out in faith. Every one here today practiced some kind of faith already today. Maybe you drove over a bridge; you sat down in a chair. You walked in the church. Everyone in the world has faith, but is the right kind of faith. Some of you here today won’t understand the kind of faith I am talking about because you don’t have a relationship with Christ. Then other here have faith but only a little faith because we still try to figure it all out before we join in with what God is doing. So where is your faith today?

- The plan to see who is faithful
- a. 30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs (about 22 quarts) of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.” 34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.
