April is “Make a Change Month” as the Ministry Team launches a project for debt retirement. The goal is to have members/friends bring in their “change” (bill, checks and credit cards also accepted) each Sunday, hoping to collect a minimum of $1500.00. All of the funds collected will go toward debt retirement at the church. We know that the economy is beginning to look very dismal with layoffs, etc., but we feel that now is the time to truly put your faith and trust in God for all your needs. Whether or not you faithfully tithe to the church, we are hoping that you will step out in faith and reach beyond your normal contributions to help us with this project.

Many verses in the Bible address the act of giving and how we are blessed as we give. We cannot truly out give God. The more we give (in any form) the more we will receive from God, provided our hearts are in tune with God and the things of God. It isn’t always a monetary giving from us or a monetary gift we receive. Sometimes we can give money to God and receive a blessing in another form. Sometime we give our time and receive additional money from an unforeseen source. Life isn’t about the money as we know that “money is the root of all evil”. We cannot put our focus on the money. Our focus must be on pleasing and serving the one true God.

Let’s put our faith in God and believe that everything in life is going to be ok, because our God is in charge. We must trust Him for all our daily needs.

Your Ministry Team is here to assist you with your needs. See Janice Norman or Ileta Schaub if you have a need or know someone who has a need. We are here to serve you.
