The Woodshed: March 2009

Connecting to community through Faith, Hope and Love is the mission of this church. In trying to carry out this purpose we realize and I hope that everyone realizes that the reason we do everything we do is to bring glory to God. If that is not the reason behind our madness then everything is useless as the writer of Ecclesiastes said in his book. It is with this purpose in mind that we carry out ever event and program in this church. If it does not meet those criteria then we should not have that event or program. So as we move ahead this year I ask you to partner with us in continuing to serve the purpose that God has placed on our hearts and minds. As we move forward just thing about all the ways that God has blessed this church over the last few years. The community is using the building more and more and realizes that God is doing something at this church. I believe that God is blessing us with a unity that is growing stronger. This is awesome and God is going to continue to bless this church as long as we keep the focus on Him and not ourselves. So as I conclude this article I say “Praise the Lord the Lord for the great thing He hath done,” but let continue to move ahead and do even more and God directs our paths in the coming months.
